Geoff Peacock has extensive experience in diverse communications technology, from employment as a radio station engineer to Director of Engineering and later General Manager of American Mobilphone, a paging and two-way communications company in Mobile. He is currently employed as Director of Radio Engineering for Clear Channel Communications in Mobile.

A founder of the Mobile Area Free-Net, Geoff worked as a volunteer for MAFN during the two years of preliminary organization, and became the Executive Director full-time when MAFN went online in January 1995, bringing Mobile its first Internet Service Provider.
