CMMC Video from DoD
Interesting. The DoD recently released a video, "Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Proposed Rule Overview." It's an all-star cast:
- Mr. Gurpreet Bhatia, Department of Defense Principal Director for Cybersecurity / Deputy Chief Information Security Officer
- Ms. Stacy Bostjanick, Chief of Defense Industrial Base (DIB) Cybersecurity, Office of the DoD Chief Information Officer (CIO)
- Mr. Buddy Dees, Director, CMMC Program Management Office (PMO)
- Ms. Diane Knight, Acquisition and Rulemaking Lead, CMMC PMO
- Ms. Jen Henderson, Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) Senior Cybersecurity Policy Analyst & Liaison to the Office of the Secretary of Defense
There's a lot of info in the video, though nothing new (if you've been keeping up), but it is worth watching. To me, the biggest takeaway is that DoD really is serious about CMMC. It's happening.
